Artemis III is a crewed Orion test flight in low Earth orbit, planned for mid-2027. The crew will practice rendezvous and docking with test versions of the commercial landers from SpaceX and Blue Origin. In February 2026 NASA moved the first Artemis Moon landing to Artemis IV, targeted for early 2028. NASA announcement
