AS NOTED ABOVE FUTURE ARTEMIS MISSIONS WILL INCLUDE TIMES OF SPLIT CREW ON THE LUNAR SURFACE AND/OR WITH A (TWO TO FOUR PERSON) TEAM ON THE GATEWAY AS WELL AS WITH MISSION CONTROL BACK ON EARTH. WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THE IMPACT OF THE ANTICIPATED 5-14 SECOND LUNAR DELAYS FOR TEAM PERFORMANCE AND FUNCTIONING AS WELL AS SPACE-TO-GROUND COORDINATION AND TEST AND VALIDATE COUNTERMEASURES FOR THESE IMPACTS IN AN ARTEMIS LIKE ENVIRONMENT.
